教育為國家百年大計，學生目前占了台灣人口總數的 17%，不過，他們將是未來社會的 100%。這是一則偵探故事，與現實中補習業對學生們「無罪的惡行」作結合。搭配平易近人的繪本風格，帶領讀者認識台灣補習班生態的緣由、現況與發展，透析教育現場的不正常、不合理。自己曾經在從小補到大的補習班中，迷失了方向，也看著許多原本對於夢想懷抱滿腔熱血的同儕，因為升學主義變得心灰意冷。
使用繪本書作為媒介，期望透過此書喚起大眾省思：如此讓一屆屆莘莘學子改造成一部部考試機器，真的是我們所希望的嗎？待未來教育改革的呼聲高漲，便能激發更多人集思廣益，還給下一代快樂學習的童年。當大人說我們是國家的棟樑——那我們就有責任、有義務，批判台灣教育，試著去改變它。
Students make up 17% of the total population. However, they will be 100% of the future society. This is a detective story that intertwines with the "The Banality of Evil" as experienced by students in the real-world cram school industry. Using a picture book style, it guides readers to understand the origins and current state of Taiwan's cram school industry, highlighting the abnormal and unreasonable aspects of the current educational environment.
Having personally lost direction in life while attending cram schools from a young age, We've also seen many classmates, once passionate about their dreams, become disheartened due to the intense focus on academic achievement. We hope to provoke public reflection: is turning generation after generation of students into exam-taking machines truly what we want? When the call for educational reform in the future becomes loud enough, it can inspire more people to come together and create a joyful learning experience for the next generation.
When adults say we will be the pillars of the nation, it means we have the responsibility and obligation to critique Taiwan's education system and strive to change it.

雖然這是一本繪本，但也內含豐富的理論知識。從各種資料、文件，以及第一人稱的敘事，令讀者化身偵探主角，如同進行著一門探案。我們從補習班的緣由、現況，再到發展，逐步解析教育環境的荒謬之處，進而引起讀者的共鳴與省思。
Although this is a picture book, it also contains a wealth of knowledge. Through various sources, documents, and first-person narration, readers can embody the detective protagonist and undertake an investigation. We analyze the origins, current state, and development of cram schools, gradually exposing the absurdities of the educational environment, with the hope of resonating with and provoking reflection in readers.
