2019 年中，香港爆發「反送中運動」。部分示威者於 9/25 呼籲全球認同民主自由價值的民眾，在 9/28 或 9/29 串連上街反對中國共產黨的極權手段。台灣部分，由香港邊城青年和台灣公民陣線等數十個民間團體發起，在台北、台中及高雄等多個地區舉辦遊行，共約有十萬人參與。

In 2019, the "Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement" erupted in Hong Kong. On September 25, some protesters called on people worldwide to join the streets on September 28 or 29 to oppose the authoritarian actions of the Chinese Communist Party. In Taiwan, several dozen civil groups, including Hong Kong Outlanders and Taiwan Citizen Front, organized marches in multiple locations such as Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, with a total of around 100,000 participants.
