晚上不愛睡覺的根莖類植物們，日落後會齊聚一堂比拚武藝。勝利者可以飽餐一頓，搶走土壤裡所有的養分，並將失敗者重新種回土裡。這是快打根莖類的老規矩，當然，絶不會有植物在過程中死掉……。
The root vegetables that dislike sleeping at night gather together after sunset to compete in martial arts. The winner gets to take all the nutrients from the soil and replant the losers back into the ground. This is the rule of the Vegetable Fighter, and of course, no plants ever die in the process...
地瓜·誌
身材瘦長，但腹部很大。愛好和平，打架不會讓其他根莖受重傷。最近嚮往成為馬保國的頭號子弟，希望習得他的致命絶招「閃電五連鞭」。
馬鈴薯·霈
四肢發達又營養過剩，以致四肢都長出馬鈴薯。身材圓矮，外表憨厚其實很兇殘。常打贏紅蘿蔔，身上穿著手下敗將紅蘿蔔的切片。很會流腳汗，但又不想浪費珍貴的水，所以穿著杯子，讓水分可以從腳掌吸收回來。
紅蘿蔔· 翔
身材細長，體弱多病。營養不良所以葉子長不大。很膽小，常常打輸。最厲害的招式是逃跑。
